| Thallus foliose, irregular, ±loosely adnate, ±stramineous with age, 1–6 cm wide, 80–250 µm thick, leaden grey to olive-leaden grey. Lobes rotund to narrowly oblong, ±anastomosing, concave or undulate; margins ascending, ±plicate, ±thickened; surfaces ±matt, prominently wrinkled, not isidiate; wrinkles thinly lamelloid, undulate, ±anastomosing, ±longitudinally orientated, sometimes forming accessory lobes. Lower surface naked or with minute holdfasts. Apothecia submarginal, sessile, 0.8–2.5 mm wide; disc concave to ±flat, reddish brown; thalline exciple ±verrucose, concolorous with thallus. Ascospores 8 per ascus, ellipsoidal, submuriform, 25–30 × 10–13 µm; apices acute. Pycnidia submarginal to marginal. Conidia 2–4 µm long; apices ±swollen. | ||
